Frequently Asked Questions

What are the loan periods?

  • Books and audio books: 3 weeks
  • Videos and magazines:  1 week

Are there fines on overdue materials?
Yes.

  • Books, audio books and magazines: 10 cents a day per item
  • Videos: $1 per day per item

Can I renew materials?
Yes, you may extend the loan period unless the item is reserved by another patron.

How do I get a library card?
You may come in and request an application. Fill it out with your full name, address, and phone number. Children under 16 must have a parent present to sign the application.

Is there a fee for a library card?
The first library card is free, but if you need a replacement the fee is $1.

Does the library have a fax machine?
Yes, you may fax items for 50 cents a page.

Does the library have a copy machine?
Yes, you may make copies for 10 cents a page.

Does the library have a computer for Internet and word processing?
Yes, we have two public access computers for Internet and word processing. Cost to print out items is 10 cents a page. All patrons must fill out a form agreeing to the computer usage policy. Children under 16 must have parental consent and a parent must be present when signing the computer usage policy.
