Join the Hammond Community Library for a radical reading adventure!

45 minutes to an hour of activities led by library staff and 75 minutes of family fun. Adventures for ages 3 and up. All programs include a craft, story and activity. Choose one theme and one activity from the list below when booking your birthday at the library.

Fees: $50 for 2 hours of library time. Limit 6 children, $10 per child after 6. Limit 20 children.

Library Provides: Library space, stories, craft, activity, decorations, setup and cleanup.

You Provide: Refreshments, cups, plates, eating utensils, etc. (recyclable or reusable is best!), and your own activities during the one-hour room rental.

Mobility limitations: Please let the library know of any mobility issues so that we may accommodate all participants.

Deposits and cancellations: A $25 deposit is required to reserve a date and time. IF the library does not receive the deposit 1 days prior to event, we reserve the right to schedule another group in that slot. If groups fail to give a two-week advance notice of cancellation, a $25 fee will be charged (if not rescheduled).

Other: Please do not bring Silly String, pinatas or confetti.
