We are excited to be a part of the very first Showcase Hammond Business & Community Open House!! This event is designed to bring the residents of Hammond information on local businesses, non-profit organizations, groups and more.
Join us at the St. Croix Central High School on Saturday, March 20 from 10 AM - 4 PM for this FREE community event! Enjoy demonstrations, seminars, prizes, food and fun-and learn about all the businesses right in our backyard.
We currently have more than 50 businesses, non-profits and groups registered. Some of the seminars and demonstrations already scheduled include Zumba, Design Trends, Cake Decorating, Martial Arts, Yoga, Unicycling, Kayaking, Llama Fiber and more! Please pass the word to friends and family; this is sure to be a fun event for the entire family. Be sure to check out the children's activities sponsored by the Library.
If you are a business or organzation that would like to be a part of this exciting marketing opportunity, but missed the registration deadline of February 20, please contact Michelle at the Library for more information. Are you a beginning scrapbooker wanting to learn new techinques? Or maybe you are seasoned scrapbooker and want to get fresh ideas. These are the classes for you!
The classes will be held on the last Wednesday of each month from September through April. The class time is 6:30-8:00 PM In each class, we will complete a 12 x 12 scrapbook page. Each page will feature beautiful designer papers and embellishments such as paper piecing and a hidden surprise like pop ups, pull outs and movement. You won't want to miss these projects!
Class fee is $7.00 each month and will cover the cost of all papers, embellishments, and instruction sheets (when applicable). You may take one class or sign up for all of them!

Join us for our annual spring fundraiser. Enjoy a wonderful breakfast of pancakes, eggs, sausage, ham, fruit, rolls, coffee, and juice. Free will offering. A basket auction will be held also, items are donated by very generous business owners in our area. Saturday, March 27, 7:30 - 12:00 at Trinity Lutheran Church. All donations from the breakfast will be used for children's programming.
